Yellowstone!

There are many wonderful aspects of living in Wyoming, but one that I love is that we are a very short drive away from Yellowstone.  We went twice last summer, once about 2 months prior to my VSG and once a few weeks after.  I'm so very excited to be going there tomorrow!  I'm really looking forward to walking and hiking as a thin person.  Last spring my son and I hiked down a very steep, although not long, mountain to the brink of the lower falls in the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.  I thought I was going to have a heart attack on the hike back up.  I'm excited to try that again!!!

I LOVE Yellowstone!   Note my buffalo avatar :)  I wished I lived a little closer.  Like you, I'm looking forward to visiting again when I am in better shape so I can access more of the park.  Have fun!

Where do you live?  We are only a three hour drive from the park.

I'm from Seattle but originally from Iowa.  We don't often drive between here and there but if we do I make sure we spend a at least some time in Yellowstone.  We have lots of great parks in Western Washington but there is something special about Yellowstone :)

I loooove Yellowstone! My parents are geologists and they took us all over the west as kids. I don't think I appreciated it then as I would now! Enjoy--you'll love hiking in your lighter body!
