It's all ho****top looking at short term weight changes. If you are honestly and strictly sticking to a good food plan, the weight WILL come off.

Follow the rules you were given by your surgeon/dietician/whomever and the stall will break when your body is good and ready... which is usually two days after you are sure that you have become the first person in history to 'fail' surgery. Trust me, been there done that ;)

Are you tracking your measurements? I find that my body tends to lose inches during stalls, and you might find the same true about your body if you start tracking measurements. I am four months post-op and have 'only' lost ten pounds in the last month, but I've been able to drop two pants sizes in that time.

I am in the same boat as you - I will be 7 weeks on Wednesday.  I saw my doc last week for my 6 wk postop check and he said I am right on target.  I only lost ~10 lbs last month, but I dropped inches (and clothing sizes! yay!).  He basically said you either lost pounds or inches, not typically both at an accelerated rate.  When you stall, you (hopefully) are dropping inches by toning those muscles you forgot you had under that fat! The increased muscle means not dropping weight - but if you are also losing inches, this means you are just losing fat and replacing it (weight-wise) with muscle.  He also said to just keep weighing/measuring.  If I start to stall on BOTH, then I need to re-evaluate my diet and exercise plan.  Hope this helps!

What is your doctor's set weight loss goal for you, per month, if you have one? Mine told me I should be steadily losing 10 lbs a month. I am 6 weeks out and I am curious to see what other's goals are.
