This weekend we went to a lake that is difficult to get to.  We drove our Jeep over some amazingly large rocks.  On the way back up the mountain (it is up a mountain and then back down another one to get to the lake) I jumped out of the Jeep and RAN up the mountain to get some video of my husband driving over some big rocks.  Then our friend's Jeep broke down and my husband had to pull him up the mountain.  That was a bit much for me, so I got out and hiked up to the top.  My hubby thinks it is only a mile or a bit more, but it was straight uphill and not on any kind of trail.  I was pretty amazed that I could do it!

Normal size and normal life are just great, aren't they!? Only the obese and formerly obese understand what a great thing this is -- climbing up a mountain. Pre-surgery, I couldn't even climb the stairs.

Good for you!
