So I have made my decision to have the gastric sleeve surgery! I see my surgeon September 22nd and I couldn't be more excited. This will be my 2nd go at weight loss surgery. I was banded in 2008 and lost 90 lbs. I was extremely happy with my band! Then I gained 40 lbs back when I was pregnant in 2012 and was unable to take it back off. Then a year ago this month my band eroded through my stomach and I had to get it removed :( Since then I had vowed I was going to lose my weight "the right way." But it was right back to the same old struggle and Ive slowly just been gaining the past year even with diet and exercise. Well I've finally had enough and am ready to get this process started, I can't wait for this huge change in my life, I can't wait to be a happier person! I read through these forums all the time but have never posted, and I just want to say thank you to everyone! All of the stories and tips and answers to the people's questions are so inspiring!

I can't wait to share my journey with all of you!
