Cold feet

I am 5 days out from surgery but my feet are always ice cold. The rest of my body can warm except for my feet. Has anyone else experienced this or am I an oddball?

Yes! Even at 8 months post-op, I have this problem. Thanks to stored hormones being released from my decreasing body fat, I'm getting hot flashes again (yes, I get to experience menopause twice! Yay.). So I'm often roasting from the neck up and my lower legs and feet are cold. You're probably a lot younger than I am (I'm in my 60s), so maybe your problem will resolve itself soon. In the meantime, wool socks and slippers are in order, and for me, a fan directed at my head!

I found Thermasilk to be the perfect solution for the cold problems.  I have sock liners, pant liners and shirts.  They go under regular clothes and provide warmth without bulk.
