Hi everyone!

It's been 8 days since my surgery...I can't believe it! I'm feeling a lot better and I've already lost 10 pounds..wowza! I'm also out of the hardcore pain meds...boo! Has anyone found a pain reliever that works well for them? Preferentially liquid form?

On another note, I've seen a lot of people post that are getting ready for surgery, and I know this community and the youtube WLS community are a little bit separate, but I thought I'd share the video I made that describes my surgery experience as well as what I've found in the week following. Plus you can get to know me a little better! (Chatting is so much easier than typing everything out sometimes!) I'll leave the link below if you're interested in checking it out! ;)

CQ (may I call you CQ?) liquid Tylenol was a Godsend for me, got it at Walmart for like $4 or something along those lines. You are so cute 'in person', just your personality and how you express yourself you come across super intelligent. I really liked your video! Also is your hair that color naturally? Because it's pretty and really suits your skin tone, I'm a red head naturally myself but I dye my hair.

Hi Kelly! I think CQ is pretty cute, although I'm a fatty at heart so it kind of sounds like DQ to me! LOL!

Thank you for the advice about liquid tylenol, I just grabbed some at the drug store last night. I don't know why I hadn't thought of it!

Your words are too kind, you're making me blush! And I wish that was my natural hair color haha! It is dyed, my natural color is a light brown. I go through a lot of hair colors because I think it's so fun to try new things. Thank you for the compliment! I think this has been the color that does fit my pale ghostly complexion the best. ;) What color do you dye your hair? I think red is just so gorgeous!

LOL I didn't even connect it with DQ, but now that you mention it, it does sound like that. I color my hair dark purple because I will never grow up. But I am super pale like you are and have freckles so essentially I am a ginger haha.

Be careful with the liquid Tylenol. They now add corn syrup (sugar) to it. You can ask a pharmacist to help you find the "diabetic" liquid Tylenol.
