My biggest NSV!

Baptism! So while I have had many NSV's since surgery this is my far my best! Today in front of my family and church family I announced my faith and love for Jesus in a believers full submersion baptism. I could not imagine having done this when I was 250 pounds. The thought of being in front of the whole congregation soaking wet with clothes clinging freaked me out 73 pounds ago. Today I was at peace and truly in the moment as my daughter and I took part in this amazingly moving experience.

Anyway without getting too churchy I really felt compelled and inspired to share a unique NSV with my OH family.

Congratulations on your baptism. What a special event, and it is wonderful that you were comfortable with yourself for this important occasion. I am so happy for you. I hope your faith will be a guide to a life full of love and compassion, as it has for me.
