Try ice chips or sugar fee popsicles! Also low sodium bouillon is great. I have an app named "HY" that reminds me to drink every 15 minutes :)

Ice chips saved me in the hospital! I haven't had any sugar free popsicles since coming home so I'll have to add those to my grocery list. Thanks!

I too was having trouble drinking, it just caused pain and cramping with each sip. I am now using a little liquid medicine cup and keeping it right next to me and drinking every couple of minutes. My doctor says to get at least 50 ounces the first two weeks, in addition to the protein shakes, so I am pretty much drinking all day long, but it's better than being dehydrated. I am drinking room temperature water and it isn't too bad. Good luck! :)

awe thank you.  I am doing much better. I think the hospital was just pumping too much pain meds in to me. Everyday gets easier :)

It's perfectly normal to have difficulty getting your fluids in at first. Just keep working at it.
