how far out were you able to eat beef? Not liking the chicken and turkey so much. Plus I have a freezer full of beef from a local farm. Pasture raised etc.

I was able to do beef as soon as I was cleared for all solid foods. I have never had any issues with any dense protein. You'll just have to try it and see how it goes.

eggs don't sit well yet. Chicken and turkey are borderline. They sit heavy.

I'd try thinly sliced Roast Beef from the deli counter. Try just 1/2 an ounce and see how it goes.

How far out are you? I'm 8 weeks out and the only beef that I've been able to tolerate is beef roast cooked in a slow cooker so that it's really tender. My sleeve is sensitive though and it struggles with dense protein so you might have an easier time with beef than I've had. Good luck!

I'm 6 weeks out. Chicken and eggs sit heavy. I've been eating a lot of beans and adding unflavored protein powder to my foods

Chicken and eggs aren't great for me either; I can only eat a very small amount of chicken and only hard-boiled or poached eggs, never scrambled. If I were you, I'd try some tender cuts of beef and just make sure to take very small bites and chew them really well. If your sleeve isn't ready for beef, that's pretty much the only way to find out.

My program had us wait until 3 months post op to add red meats. I know a lot of programs don't require this long a wait.
