I'm starting to freak out a little bit. My surgery date is 4/20 and my nerves are all over the place! Any advice? TIA

You're feelings are totally normal! If you browse this board, you'll see loads of messages from people feeling the same way leading up to surgery.  My advice is to focus on educating yourself on the post-op process, diet, review doc's instructions, and read as much as you can on this forum. There's great advice on here, and I have learned so many things that I would never have thought to ask questions about.  The more you understand what life will be like both right after surgery and long-term, the more comfortable you'll feel, and you'll be able to look forward with excitement and joy about the amazing journey you're starting!

Thank you so much. I have found a lot of helpful info on here so far. I wish I knew about this site a long time ago!

This site has definitely the best education source.  You will be knowledgable about the range of effects after surgery.  Being prepared will hopefully lower your anxiety.
