Shakes and jello and yogurt, oh my!

Can I just say how much I am OVER my shakes, jello and yogurt? On post op day 10 and I can't wait till my diet gets switchd up next week to soft food (maybe an egg? Yum) and pureed veggies.

Any food suggestions on phase 2 post op diet? Not a fan of cottage cheese, etc so looking for ideas!

It won't take long to feel the same way about tunafish - i can't stand it anymore.. YUCK........

You can't take care of them, if you don't take care of you!!

I hated cottage cheese until my pre-op diet, and then I loved it because it was one of the only non-sweet things I could eat. Try it again. You may find you actually like it.

I still remember my first scrambled egg post op. Was the best thing I'd ever tasted. Hang in there, you're doing great!

I haven't had the surgery yet but I've been reading a lot and if you had bought the book they offered at the beginning has some nice recipes to try,,they sound good for the liquid part,,,haven't tried it yet,,good luck

Be thankful your liquid post-op diet isnt longer. My surgeon asks us to do it for a month. Im at almost the 3 week point and it is getting very old indeed.
