I almost gave up...

Don't give up now! I was supposed to be having my EGD today, but earlier this week I got a call that my doctor had resigned from the practice and they were not all that helpful in getting me a referral...so I came on here and got some encouraging words and did some research myself and called a new surgeon and have started their process..YAY!! 8 years of wanting this and I am not giving up. I hope you keep fighting too!

I'm in the same boat it so upsetting but hang in there I'm going for another consult on Tuesday then I had to get another ok from my PCP to go to new place only to get and call saying if my pcp write a letter for a continue of care letter i can stay at the first place i been trying this since 2014 I get so close then they the surgeons are dropped for network. I'm keep the appt open on tuesday just in case the insurance reject the continue of care I too finish pre-op hang in there hope it works out I'm praying daily for all those that are in this struggle.just relax .
