Whoohoo! for no more binge eating. The guilt of that alone is enough to drive you mad! 

 

B- Protein shake

L - Chicken thigh

D - Don't know yet. My daughter has a softball game so I might have to pick up dinner. Protein forward of course!

S - SF popsicle - my favorite snack after walking

E - walking, getting my 10k steps in daily.

You're right, Gwen. Planning is key to staying in control of the kinds and amounts of food we eat. I plan my food at least 3 days in advance, write a little meal list to put on the fridge, and then stick like glue to my grocery list when shopping. It's very comforting knowing what I'm going to eat every day and that everything is in the fridge ready to go. I will say that being retired allows ample time to do this -- when I was working it was a lot more difficult (heck, it was impossible at my high weight!)

  1. Coffee w/cashew milk
  2. Homemade Maryland crab soup
  3. Slow-cooker chicken breast, green peas
  4. Snack: Orange

W&V: Water's done; I just started using the vitamin/mineral patches today.

E: Typing this post. I'll soon start a thread about how to haul oneself out of a comfy chair and get real about exercise regularly.
