Wow, I really got smacked in the face how true this is this week. I am having a very emotional week. One of our grown children is causing a lot of stress and it was the first anniversary of my sister's death. So I feel back into old habits. I feed my grief. Thank goodness for this tool that I was not able to feed it as badly as before. I thing the quick feeling of being full and the slightly sick feeling I had afterwards helped me to realize this could not be my stress reliever anymore.

SO, today, I am back to eating as I should. Lots of protein, drink my water, and WALK.

Got to remember - I didn't get this way in a day and I won't fix it in a day!

Started this journey 6/6/16 - 246.8lbs. SW 214 - 9/6/16 VSG. CW - 158. (9/15/17) Post VSG M1- 20, M2- 8.4 M3- 6.6 M4- 8 M5- 3.6 M6-5.8 M7- 1.5 M8- 1.5 GOAL - 142.

Never waste a second chance!!

You are so right! I have found out so much about myself since surgery. I'm glad you realized and snapped out of it! Good job!

same here and it's a GREAT TOOL.  the only thing i find is i cannot handle some of the stuff hubby likes to snack on being in the house when i'm under pressure, so sweet-man-that-he-is doesn't purchase that garbage anymore.

Sorry to hear that you are having a tough week and so sorry for the loss of your sister.  I too am an emotional eater.  So happy you have the vsg and were able to realize it's capabilities.  Awesome job getting back on track.
