Last week was my first business trip of many to come. I noticed several non scale victories while on my trip.

  1. I did not need a seat belt extender and I did not feel like a sack of potatoes squeezed ina tiny space...lol
  2. I was able to lotion my feet bending over forward without a struggle...YAY... that means my belly is no longer in the way.
  3. I was able to say no to all the tempting foods. In fact I had no interest in the food.

Like someone said, this is a journey not a race.

Those are great NSVs. Congrats on getting to the point where you feel good about traveling.

Boy, I remember my first biz trip post-op. Some of the same NSVs you had.

My first trip was when I realized I could not only function on less food (even the 800 cals/day I was eating the first 4 months), but I could perform great. My energy was SO much higher.

One of my biggest NSVs was realizing I could walk for much longer distances and no longer had to flag down cabs to take me everywhere.

I was starting to feel normal. That was so wonderful!
