Breakfast is not a magical meal. A great many people here skip breakfast.

If you have not lost in three months, you are eating as many calories as you are burning. Simple as that. You need to find a way to eat fewer calories.

First, you need to drink more liquid. Your minimum goal should be 64 ounces, not 50.

Then - what, exactly, are you eating each day? Give us examples of your daily meals. If you're not tracking everything you put into your mouth with something like MyFitnessPal, start doing that now. Start weighing/measuring, and logging everything that you ingest.

But share your meals with us and we can try to troubleshoot for you.

What you've posted seems fine - is that actually all you're eating? No veggies or sauces or rice or anything else?

What are you drinking? Any alcohol or other drinks with calories?

Any snacks between meals?

Liquid calories tend to be a good culprit for unrealized calories. The protein shake, of course, has calories as does OJ. And the OJ is just liquid carb.

Again, though, you really need to use something like MyFitnessPal to track your intake otherwise you have no idea what you're actually consuming. I recommend doing that for a week and seeing what you need to change.

I've been in a virtual stall for 11 months! 198.8 on 5/1/2016 and 196 today. That being said, I am at a weight that is VERY close to my maintenance goal so I have not been overly bothered by it. But grim is right about calories in and out. Also, I do try to always drink at least 64 ounces of water, not mixed with anything, straigh****er everyday. . . . . it is doable. I do drink lots of other stuff too, much too much coffee, etc.

If the doctor recommends the additional weight loss I would heed that and get back to basics of a bariatric diet as much as you can. . . . that's what works, really.

I don't eat breakfast. It shouldn't matter. You are eating too many calories and put yourself in maintenance. I eat anywhere between 750 - 850 calories a day. Track everything in the my fitness pal app and cut all your carbs. I would not be where I am without this site so stick around and join either daily menu threads for accountability. There's one every day on the VGS forum and the RNY forum (all is welcome regardless of what surgery you had).
