New on the Outside Only!

It's still hard to believe that it's a different me on the outside probably because I have remained the same on the inside. While this surgery has changed my life for better health, I haven't let it change my kind hearted and sometimes silly personality. Obese individuals are sometimes stereotyped as bubbly and overly joyed and the life of the party!..Well I'm still all of those things just in a smaller frame. I must say that I don't like talking about my weight loss to certain individuals, and it's not because I have anything to hide, it's because I just don't want to talk to certain people about my weight loss..lol My focus is these 28 lbs to reach my goal weight and I'm enjoying the journey and staying true to myself! The sky is no longer the limit, I'm reaching for the heavens!

I know what you mean about not wanting to talk to certain people abut weight loss. There's this one woman at my gym and every time she sees me, which thankfully isn't often because she doesn't come reliably, the first thing she says to me is "How much weight have you lost now?!" It doesn't matter who is around - she's even asked this loudly across the group fitness classroom while other people are there! And I'm like... seriously, lady?! No tact at all.

This happened to me recently at work, when someone in executive level management called me into their office and asked me the same question loudly (I'm pretty sure the whole department heard). I was pretty ******g annoyed. What makes things worse is I was trying to pull an "Office Space" and duck out without anyone noticing...
