Someone at work gave me a tub of Casein protein. I have always used Whey protein and looked it up online and it looks pretty similar just your body takes it in different. Has anyone used this? Should I just throw it away or give it a try?

Casein isn't absorbed as well as whey protein isolate, but, if I was in this situation, especially being 4+ years out, I'd try it. If I liked the taste, I'd probably mix it with my regular protein powder that I use for my daily breakfast shake, or I'd alternate it if it was a flavor that didn't mix well.

I do use Casien at night. It's considered good for overnight muscle repair after exercise and I do a lot of weight lifting.
