 Lately I am really bad about updating my profile.   LOL  I guess I lead such a exciting life.   NOT.   Anyway here I am updating it anyway.    I am now almost 5 and a half year post op RNY Gastric bypass.   I originally lost 140 lbs.  but have gained some of it back.   I am really working hard though to get that gain back off.   I am also looking into (or thinking about it anyway ) going in and having a re-do on a TT than was never tight ( muscles or stomach ).   I had that done over 3 and a half years ago.    I was never pleased with the results of my stomach ( I had a LBL) but the PS knew it but refused to do anything about it.   He kept telling me that I looked so much better than before.  DUH...yeah my stomach didn't hang to my knees anymore but my stomach was NOT tight nor flat like he said it would be.   UGH......$13,000 not well spent IMHO.   No telling how much more getting it re done by another PS will cost.   I would like to forget it but can't.   I struggle daily to keep my pants on my body.  I have no hips and way too much around my midsection.   If you are reading this and considering PS....my advice to you is to PLEASE make sure that your PS is very familiar with WLS patients.   Talk to some of his patients ( if they will let you ) that are more than one year post op PS and ask if they are pleased with their results.    You don't see the final results of PS for a year.    You can tell what is on my mind today.   LOL   Sorry to vent but this original surgeon still thinks that I am pleased with my results.   He won't do anything about the results that I have because HE is pleased.   But I live almost every day of my life crying about the way I look and the struggles of all the excess skin around my midsection.    Hope I didn't get anyone down about this.   I am really a very upbeat person.   OH well....I AM better than I use to be.  Have a blessed day !!!
