My story seems to be a bit different from most stories found on this website. I was of normal weight growing up and even joined the services. However during my first pregnancy I developed a complication in which I put almost 100lbs on in a matter of weeks. Even though these pounds went on quickly they didn't seem to want to come off.
I have been researching this surgery for 3 years and I'm ready. I'm ready to take that step to regain my life back. To be able to do the things I once did will be so great. I want to be able to run and play with my kids. Be more involved during vacations. Above all I want to get rid of all of these medications I have to take on a daily basis.
