Hello! I am a 42 year old acute care nurse who is finally ready to reclaim her life!
I was always the "skinny kid" when I was young, and that lasted until I was about 16. Untreated depression led me to binge and purge my way through the rest of my adolensence to lead me to being pregnant and horribly overweight. So much more happened to get me where I am today, but there is no sense dwelling on the past.
I am ready to get my life back. Not for my looks, not because I want to be "thin and pretty." I want to be strong, healthy, and live for many, many years with my new husband.
