Ah, the old "ice chip" excuse for removing the NG tube early, eh? No really, glad to hear you are doing well now. Hope your recovery continues to get better and better.

It is 7:35pm cst and I just spoke to Karen. She is feeling better this evening. Her NG tube is out but she still has her JP tube and catheter. She wants everyone to know that she misses them and is thinking of them. God bless you Karen. Your Angel.

Hi WLS family, I just called Karen in the hospital and she is doing well. Yesterday, she was in a lot more pain than she had anticipated but today it's all under control. She's gotten up for a couple of walks today and says it's helped her feel a lot better. She's eating ice chips and had a little trouble with some getting stuck in her NG tube (I'll let her fill you in). The tube was removed but she still has her catheter. I told her we're thinking about her and she asked me to let everyone know she misses us. PLEASE sign her surgery page and send her your well wishes for her continued recovery. KAREN, WELCOME TO THE "LOSING" SIDE WHERE WE'RE REALLY WINNERS; GOD BLESS YOU OUR WLS SIS!
