Hello Everyone! It's Nikki and I am home!!! I am 12 days post-op and as of Thursday, I have lost 18 pounds! I am now walking a mile a day and feel WONDERFUL!!! This surgery has been such a blessing to me and I don't regret one day of the 13 years I had to wait! It was worth it! So to all of you out there still trying to get approval, please, NEVER GIVE UP!!! THis surgery has a dream come true! I feel better now than I have felt in YEARS!!! Nikki

I went to visit Nikki today, and she is doing extremely well. She has been up and walking and taking her rations of ice chips. It was so nice to finally meet her! It just makes me more excited about my surgery.
