Hello! Once again. My name is Adriana Sifuentes and my current weight is 331 pounds. WOW! That is so difficult to type in because never had I been so heavy. I am 35 years old and have been married for 14 years going on 15 this August. I have 3 beautiful children, Abigail - 12, soon to be 13 in July, Anali - 7 and Andres 3 1/2. I am an Instructional Supervisor(better known as assistant principal) at an elementary. Why am I having surgery? Very simple, I'm young, married and have 3 wonderful kids that will need me for a very long time. Not only that but I am tired of being overweight, I have hit rock bottom. As a child I was overweight, as a teenager I was overweight and as an adult I am overweight and I'm tired of it, plus I had my best friend, Janie, that encouraged me into considering it, since she herself will be having surgery in less than 2 weeks. It had gotten to the point that I avoid social gatherings with my husbands family because of embarassment. Don't get me wrong, they have never said anything negative about my weight. But I don't feel comfortable in social gatherings. Shopping is a nightmare. I refuse to go shopping because every time I go I come back depressed. I'm praying that this surgery will give me the tool that I need in order to be successful in my weight loss.
