"I am a revision from LapBand to VSG. I had a very successful 3 year stint with the band. It slipped and was removed last Feb '13. I had to fight insurance company for nearly 10 months to get the revision. Dr. D was very supportive and when the time came and I was approved, he arranged to get me in sooner than later.
He is a no nonsense Dr.! Don't look to be coddled or have him be anything but direct and serious about your journey. If you are compliant and want to change your life, he is the man. If you want a cheerleader or friend, nope, not gonna get. He EXPECTS the best out of you, you can expect the same. Now his wife, T, she is the loving and supportive branch of this practice. The "ying" to his "yang". She leads the class right before surgery and makes up for the "mom" part of this business. I am very satisfied and highly recommend the RGH Bariatric program entirely, from the front desk, to the nurses, assistants etc.
