Hi im amy and this is my story , i decided as my new years resolution that this year was gonna be about me im 35 years old i have been overweight since i was 8 years old and i deserve a better life i dont have any health problems other than being obese, but as most of you know lots of ups and downs with this and insecurities , i have a 11 year old son with diabetes and a 16 year old daughter and i do not want them to be withought a mother before its time , i have a husband of 13 years and life isnt bad its pretty good im just tired of all this access weight , so in jan i called st vincents called my insurance got the 411 they scheduled my first apt. in march i had to do a six month program and see a dietician loose some of my access weight i ended up loosing around 30 pounds wich left me at 260 they sent my aproval and not even two weeks later i got aproved whoooohoooo i was sooo excited ,
so my surgery was set for sept 21 2011 everything has worked out good so far , i had a hernia that had to be removed as well wich made me a lil more sore but still i cant believe everything went so well ,,,,
