(My story is most likely not much different than most anyone that has had WLS.....but here are a few details.)
I have never known "skinny" but hope to see it soon because I was an obese child that turned into an obese adult.
My family is part Dutch and my mother is a excellent baker so food was a big part of my life. I am in the healthcare field and have been exposed to the facts and stats of obesity but always thought I would be a failure to have any type of WLS. The fall of 2007
I was at my wits end as how I was going to find a way to lose weight and keep it off. Through a series of events I realized that
WLS (RNY) was my only option if I wanted any quality to my life. I was able to have an RNY 2-28-08 with only one regret which is that I wish that I had done this sooner!
