I received approval from the psychologist. My next appointment is with the surgeon on Nov. 22nd to go over all of the evaluations. I am being told that his surgery schedule is out to Jan or Feb sometime. One of my fears has now become reality, my husband is on orders to go to Fort Hood, TX in Mar...praying for a miracle that I will be called for surgery sooner.

Tommorow is my Psch appointment. Hoping everything goes well. Psychological evaluations make me nervous for some reason. For the last several weeks I have been researching and racking my brain trying to find supplements and protien shakes that meet all of the requirements as well as fit within my budget. I was told by a good friend that I was puting too much thought into it as I do with everything this big. Needless to say, I found everything I need with tastes that I can tolerate and hey, they didn't break the bank. Now I just have to wait for the final approval and on to scheduling my surgery.
Also, I am very excited I found a support group that meets closer to my house and at times that are easier to work in my schedule.

Today is my appointment with the nutritionist. I just checked my weight on the Wii Fit and I have gained 2 lbs since my appointment with the surgeon two weeks ago. I've heard that they are really strict about weight gain and that it can possibly prolong the process. Since I am being treated at a military hospital by military doctors I am also worried that I will get a date for surgery and the doctor will have to deploy, pushing the date back again. Also, if my husband receives orders to go to a new duty station I will have to start the entire process at our new duty station provided they have a bariatric team. So many additional factors to consider and stress out over. I know, I know STRESS causes weight gain. I just want to get the surgery now and be sitting on the loser's bench!!!
