Yes, that's right I am pregnant with my very first baby. A BAND BABY!!! After long amount of research and checking and doubling checking with the surgeon, my baratric physcian and my OBGYN. It is here and we are super excited.
My Due Date is July 1 2009. Can you believe it! A firecracker of a baby. Well so far so good no problems. Iam 11 weeks pregnant. I have been very lucky (knock on wood) no morning sickness or weight gain. Just a little bit of constipation.
My surgeon and I discussed the ability to keep the fluid in my band to help moderate weight gain during pregnancy. He had no problem as long as the baby is progressing and growing approbiately. I have 3.25cc's in my 10 cc band and life is great!!! My OBGYN states that I need to gain between 25-35 lbs to be honest that kind of freaks me out because I know how hard it was to loose the last 30lbs and I am scared of ever going back to the "darkside". But I know that it is the only time in my life it is okay to gain weight and it is for the best reason. I have told myself that I am just going to focus on eating right and taking care of myself the best I can and the rest is in God's hands.
