Finally home!

So... I'm home, 3 days post op and I'm feeling great. Having a tough time getting in all my water. But it feels amazing being in my own bed! The 2 days I was in the hospital were great, the care I received was amazing. The surgeon said my surgery couldn't have went any better, thank God. After I got a some rest after the surgery my nurse came in and asked if I wanted to try and walk to the chair I had in my room, I took a leap of faith there and I did it! And sat in the chair for about an hour. I felt amazing. But in the beginning I was rethinking it when I walked in to the prep area for surgery if I wanted to do it or not but my amazing nurse and prep team eased my nervousness for sure! I was at a children's hospital so one of them kept telling me really corny jokes to take my mind off things. I'm so happy things went the way they did and I'm home safe and sound starting my new and improved lifestyle.
