5 months out..

Sep 12, 2011

It seems like most people post here the few months before surgery, and a little while after and then just drift off.. I'm guilty of the same exact thing, sometimes life just gets in the way and once you've had the surgery and you start feeling better, you start spending more time living life, rather than sitting in front of the computer. I'm 5 months out and down 63lbs so far and I feel wonderful. This was the BEST thing I ever did for myself. I've had so many people ask me about the surgery and I'm always 100% honest, I'll tell you, the first week wasn't easy.. even though I'd made alot of changes beforehand, it was still a shock, I had a few "what did i just do?" moments, and a few times I said to myself "was doing something this drastic the right thing for me?"  no matter how much you prepare yourself, no matter how many people you talk to,, it'll still happen. But now, 5 months out.. I'm sure. this was the best thing i ever could have done, Sure, i could have joined weight watchers again and gone that route. and by about now I'd be bored with it, and sitting around eating a bag of chips and a glass of soda watching the world go by.. but now.. I'm living life. If you're reading this and still thinking.. DO IT. call the doctor, start the process and go for it, lifes too short. feel free to message me anytime.
