I'm about 10 days' shy of my 5 month surgiversary! I'm doing so well. I almost never ever feel sick anymore. I felt a little bloated and icky today for about an hour, but that was because I had some Mexican food and it was too filling--yummy though!
In July we had our first MW PIFS group meeting (midwest pay it forward support group). We went to dinner at the Twisted Fork and then all visited Marci in the hospital. She was sedated, so we only stayed a minute. I'm looking forward to our next meeting in September.
I'm now down to 175.8 pounds for a total of 72.2 pounds lost since surgery. I get compliments all the time. It's sort of embarrassing, but it makes me feel good at the same time.
I bought my ticket to go visit my mom at Thanksgiving! I can't wait to see her--she's my best friend! xo I'm bringing my youngest son...he doesn't know yet. I'm going to surprise him on his birthday 2 weeks before the trip. He is going to be so happy. I bought a bathing suit for the trip. I haven't bought a swimsuit in....well, 10 years? A long time anyway. I bought a smaller size than I currently wear, so I hope it'll fit by November.
I'm buying my friends treadmill this weekend! I'm really excited about it as I need to start exercising...now, let's just hope I use it for more than a clothes rack!
