I have been obese ALL my life. I am 45, married for 7 years to the LOVE of my life. I have a 19 yr old stepson in Boston. We have 2 dogs that are our babies.
I have been interested in WLS for several years. However, insurance problems etc have kept me from it. Now, my husband and I have decided to go ahead and self pay.
I had been fortunate that until about a year ago I had not had any health complications due to my weight. In the last year I have been diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure.
So, at long last, now is the time for ACTION!
