Finishing up a few last things here and then on the road to my surgery! It is only a 45 minute to an hour drive-- hopefully it doesn't drag!

My Mother is my partner in crime today  

I am so thankful for her

I will be a bit early once I get to the hospital so if anyone wants to keep my mind occupied for a little while I DEFINITELY do NOT mind  

Best Wishes to those who are getting their surgery today right along with me! Those of you I have talked to and those of you who I have not-- God Bless and we'll chat afterwards!!

Finally the time has arrived for my reborn day! I am so happy! I am going to walk into the hospital with my head held high and my confidence through the roof and I have not only myself to thank for that but also my Friends and family for all of their continued support and love!

I will be checking in tomorrow once I am fully awake from surgery and let everyone know how it is going!

I couldn't be more thrilled! I am SO READY to be reborn! I can't say I know this or I know that about after surgery since I haven't been there yet HOWEVER I do know that I will do the very best I can do! I have this beautiful picture of what life will conform into after surgery and what I want to do for a work out routine HOWEVER I know it all depends on my body and how I feel. I can't ignore the feelings if they are there, I will end up hurting myself in the long run by doing so.

finally--- no more worries!! I was approved in 6 days!!! I am so grateful and feeling so very blessed!!! I am on my second day of my two week liquid diet! The rest of this week, next week and I am ready to go!!!

Am I doing something wrong? Am I not on here enough? I can't seem to find the great "support" I read about. I have finally added more people to my list of friends, however, no one seems to have anything to say or acknowledge that we are friends or maybe my posts and comments are invisible?? Either way, I am here everyone, to give support and create long lasting friendships and to receive the same in return.

Oh My gosh, I had a few appointments after my previous one in December!

I am approved via the Dr. to get surgery and paperwork was submitted on 1/21/14 to insurance company!!

Surgery is for march 3rd 2014! 5 weeks!!!!!!

I have a follow up in 3 weeks on 2.11.14!!!

I just hope my insurance doesn't give me any issues on getting the approval!!!

 I got a return phone call!! I got a green light on everything and they were ready to schedule my appointment with Dr Gaberialson!!!

JAN 7TH!!!!  Can you tell I am excited?! I have so much drive, dedication and determination inside of me!!!!!

Okay, so I couldn't wait any longer to find out what my status was soooooo I called Geisinger and they advised me that my "letter" was sent out on Monday ( 12.23.13) and once financial states to the surgery department that my fee has been paid, green light from the entire program then I will get the phone call to schedule with the first available surgeon!  

PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS!!

I am beyond elated!!!

 I jumped on the scale before I seen the Dr. which is normal routine, I had lost all the weight I needed to lose!! The Dr. told me at my Nov. appointment that I should be at least at half of my goal by the time my next appointment came around and I had lost it all! Now I just need to maintain because of my insurance provider, I can't lose any more weight, until after my last weigh in  which is with the surgeons!! I am awaiting the call which can take up to a week which would take me to after the holidays ( booooa) TASKS THAT NEED DONE PRIOR TO SURGERY:

approval with insurance  ( PPO Blue Cross Blue Shield First Priority ) my medical records need transferred so they have a 5 year medical history to show that I have been obese for the last 5 years and last but not least to maintain my weight until after my next appointment and then I can lose more prior to surgery and I don't have to be worried about not qualifying with my insurance.(you would think the insurance companies would set different guidelines for Bariatric patients wanting WLS!!! )

I am so excited but nervous at the same time! It is my final weigh in and I need to lose a final 15 pounds by December 18th 2013. I am on my 3rd day of partial liquid diet.. Meaning breakfast and lunch are protein shakes and for dinner I usually have salad, chicken breast and yogurt. I am also going to start a cleanse as well just to make sure I lose the final pounds. I have a little over three weeks! Any suggestions/ support would be greatly appreciated.
