2 years post op

Apr 27, 2017

Wow! Times flies when your having fun! These past 2 years have went by so incredibly fast!! I've lost from 244 to my now steady weight of 112. I did get to 109, but I'm keeping it steady at 112 now. I'm in a size 0. I shop the kids clothes ( that I hate!-- try finding adult clothes with cute sparkles on them???? yeah ok) but hey they aren't 2xl so I'm good!! I thank God everyday I'm not that same chic from 2 years ago. If you go into this surgery thinking your not going to change well your fooling yourself, you do change!! Spiritually, emotionally, financially, everyone changes! Those first few months, I dont think I could've made it without prayer and and tears!! Both kept me sane, one without the other, I made it through!! I saw things I wanted yet couldn't, wouldn't touch it and that took a toll on me yet I knew what I was in for. And that set me up for a whole new way of thinking, step up or step aside, step up is what I did and did it with gusto!! I put my whole soul into reinventing healthy foods for my whole family and everyone "lost' because of it. we worked as a team to support each other. brownies were still made, but with healthier versions, and tasted better!

I am so thankful for Dr Ahuja and his whole team at New Life for believing in me and for my family for putting up with my crazy recipes and wild ideas to try.
