I am 29 years old and I have been overweight since I can remember. I had rolls at six, and they never went away! Unlike many of the profiles I read -- I love who I am, just the way I am!!
There were times as a teen that I felt fat and was insecure, but I had heard fat jokes my entire life and realized that people will always find a way to try and bring you down. I found who I was and in that I have so much to offer!
Last June, I had my third child via Cesarean section! With my weight and three c-sections, I ended up with a homotopy which lead me to hospitalization. I then had to have my gall bladder removed in November of last year due to stones. These are the only medical issues I have ever had!! So I really sat and thought to myself...yes you are gorgeous but no matter how confident your are about your physical appearance, how confident are you about your life span!
I am not sure, and while I am blessed to have gone this far with a 60BMI -- yes I am 390lbs! Soon more severe conditions will shorten my life span and I may not be around to see my children graduate from elementary school let alone meet my grand kids.
So I began to try weigh lost! Lets just say I lost 20lbs then gained 40 more...smh! Now I am in classes for WLS. I hope to begin a journey that will ultimately save my life!
