I have been in the WLS program at Kaiser before. I had a problem with them not honoring my appts. I drove a long way and had to move heaven and earth to get this done. I felt so disrespected and like my time meant nothing.
Unfortunately I now need to suck it up and get back in.
I am now waiting.... impatiently!
But this is too important for me to give up at this point! Same story been fat all of my life ( tell it like it is I ain't just heavy I'm fat ). I have been diagnosed with diabetes about 25 yrs ago. I wil be 50 this year. And would like to live through part of the second half of my century. So I need to do this. For my health, my family and for my peace of mind!!
I am very VAIN I can admit that. Some would ask how if I'm fat... your mind controls your outlook!
I believe that God's will is the most important thing! So I move toward the surgery, knowing that God could have other plans and may take this opportunity away from me at any moment, but I press on, if it's HIS will all will go smooth!!!
