Toni Parker
I was really skinny as a young girl - mum and dad used to worry because I wouldn't eat but as soon as I hit my teens, the weight started piling on. In my early teens, it was referred to as "puppy fat" and everyone thought I would grow out of it...well, I'm now 47 and I didn't grow out of it...I just grew.
Anyway, like so many of you, I've tried just about every diet known to man. I've have no trouble loosing weight when I put my mind to it and have been very successful with a few diets, Weight Watchers and Atkins in particular but as soon as I stop the diet, I return to normal bad habits and the weight comes back.
So, now I've made the decision that's going to change the rest of my life - a sleeve Gastrectomy.
My surgery is booked for 15 March 2007. I'm excited and scared at the same time and I would really love to hear from other people who have had this surgery and hear their experiences.
