Getting ready for my new life.....

Only a few days away from surgery day!  Excited can't even begin to explain it. I've been busy getting the house ready so there is nothing that needs to be cleaned at all when I come home. Friday I'm going shopping so please any advice on what to get would be greatly taken. I had a friend suggest that I do a thing with my church where people can pick a day for the first couple weeks home to bring over supper for my kids because they are all too young to cook. I guess I'm not sure of I'm OK with doing that. I hate asking for help especially when it comes to my kids but I will do anything for them if it is the best decision..... Sooooooo....... What do you all think ? Will it be good to do that or wool I be OK to be cooking for them right away ?
