 It's been 11 weeks now and I'm down 47 pounds! I am so loving this surgery! I need to start working out though!! I know my weight loss would be so much better if I would exercise. My pouch doesn't like grease, which I am thankful for but I don't dump :(!! I wish I did!!! I am so happy I had this life changing surgery!!

What a difference 4 weeks make!! I am down 20 since surgery and 27 since liver shrink. I am so happy that I was blessed to have this surgery, it has changed my life already. I have a pep in my step know just knowing that my scale is going down and not up like it normally does. I cant wait to see what the future holds for me!!

 Today I weighed in at 239.5!! That's 17.5 down since surgery!! I think I am starting to get the hang of this. I have started listening to my body and not eating when I'm not hungry. That has been hard for me up until this point. I am starting to feel and see the weight coming off. I can wear my wedding ring now, haven't worn it in months! Happy dance!!;);)

Well, what can I say? I was not expecting my recovery to take as long as it did. I am 17 days post op and feeling pretty good. I have only lost 12 lbs since surgery. I of course have the thought that I am gonna be the one this surgery isnt gonna work for. You dont realize how much your life revolves around food until it is taken away. I have been walking some and doing my workout dvd's. I need to do better though. I still get tired easily. I have have been doing pretty good as far as my protein goes. I need to buy some of those bullets to get in a lot of protein in one shot!! I cant wait to go back to work!!

Is so happy the surgery went "perfectly" according to my surgeon. I was not prepared forthe pain when I woke up. It was much more painful than my lapband surgery. I got back to my room around 2pm and was up walking 3 hours later. I just went for round 2. Feeling pretty good except I'm hungry!! Is this normal?? 

My liver shrink diet starts today! I am sooooooo nervous that I will fail at even this. My plan is to start walking today, hopefully it will help with some weight loss too. I can't believe that I am only 2 weeks away from my life changing forever. I can't wait to get healthy!!!

I had my surgery yesterday. Its been 9 years since I have had any real surgery and I forgot about that stinging feeling where my incisions were. Between my laparoscopic scars for lap band, gall bladder removal, lap band removal and my future RNY, I'm gonna have nothing but scars on my belly :). My shoulders bothered me more than anything, the gas I assume. One surgery down, one more to go!!!

I am so excited to get this thing out of me! Its been 3 weeks of pain! Next month the real deal!!

Just got the phone call that I have been waiting for!! Im approved!! I've had a little complication with my lap band this weekend. Went to the ER for severe abdominal pain, found out that my tubing has disconnected. Hopefully my surgery date can be sooner because it hurts so bad.
