Soooo... I have been waiting to see when they start scheduling surgeries for 2010.I am number 23 on the list as soon as they start scheduling. BUT!... there's always some ass involved somewhere (last remark for my entertainment). I was told it could be set as far out as April, May or June
... Yeah, and as anxious as I am about getting the WLS and getting on with my life from there, tis a bit unnerving to have to wait so long yet still. And this has gotten my head spinning from one extreme to another. I know that it all takes time, but by golly I am ready to get er dunn already.
I have given myself all the speaches I could think of since I got the message yesterday. They didnt work. My mind is still in next month mode and my body is withdrawing from anxiety. I'd a never thunk it!!!
But on a note, they did tell me to check in from time to time, and I will. Also I will drop them a note that if they have any cancellations, I am more than ready and can be there within three hours from here. Of course I will wait til next week to send the message, and keep my fingers crossed for the best outcome of the situation.
Worst case scenario... I have to take Xanax all day tomarrow as well as today. LOL
Those praying members... please pray for a good word from surgeon as soon as it may come. And toss in a lil something for my sanity too.
Now I have to get things around here ready for me to go babysit tomarrow and sunday. So I may or may not be at chat Monday night. I hope I am around here so I can be anyway.
I have my surgery on my shoulder Wednesday so I will be the usual MiA again for a few days.
