REFLECTING

As this year comes to a close, I am reflecting back on 2008. I made the decision to have the lapband surgery in 2006. I had the surgery in May of 2007. 2007 was a year of transition for me. I went through some life changes, physical changes, emotional changes, spiritual changes and growth. 2007 closed the chapter on many parts of my life and opened a new chapter on many parts of my life also. I became engaged to be married to my soul mate. 2008 was my year of new beginnings. My weight loss was noticebly successful. My relationship with my fiance grows stronger everyday. Our relationship is centered around GOD and HE is truly blessing us. My fiance is so supportive, loving, kind, hard working, and very very handsome. He is everything that I had prayed for. GOD does answer prayers plus some. Thank YOU JESUS. I'M BLESSED!!
Acid Reflux??

This is my first blog over a year out from surgery. I went in for my 3rd or 4th fill (can't remember) on thursday of last week. Since then I have had acid reflux and feel terrible. I went back to my surgeon yesterday to have some fluid taken out. He suggest we give it a few more days because I have been able to eat and keep it down which makes him think that i'm not too tight. I have had some improvement since then, but not enough to make a big difference in how I feel. I'm giving it until thursday and if it's not better he is GOING to take some fluid out. I'm tired of feeling icky.
