"I was going to go with Dr. Hilmy, but like others from Washington, who were going to have him do the surgery, he left. So now I have an appointment scheduled with Dr. Hunter in February. I am still hoping to have the surgery sometime this year. I will update once I have met with the new surgeon.
I met with Dr. Hunter, and I think he is very nice. He went through all the pros and cons of WLS, and told me what to expect afterward. He clearly explained all the risks, but all clearly explained the benefits of this surgery. He does emphasize aftercare, and being part of support groups. His office staff is great. They helped me alot, and were very quick to get things done, once I meet all the criteria by my insurance company. I have the utmost confidence in him. "
