I was rushing around about 12:45 today getting the babies dressed in there halloween costumes to get out the door and to my 7 yr olds school for his halloween parade which started at 1:30 and then to the 9 yr olds school for his by 2.  Well the phone rang at about 12:50 caller ID said St Vincent Hospital, hhmm I thought thats where I will be having my surgery.  It cant be them already my NUT's office said they wouldn't be calling for 7-10 days.  Well I answered and sure enough it was them, my voice shakey and excited the woman on the other end said "wow your happy about this".   Well my consult is scheduled for Monday November 2, 2009 at 2:15 pm with Dr. Potter, before I leave this appt I will be booking my surgery!!!  2 wonderful calls in 1 week!!!!!!!!!!

WOOT WOOT I GOT MY CALL TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my call from my NUT office today saying I was approved.  This means I reached my goal weight, which I knew 9/23 but needed to wait for the team to have their monthly meeting this month.  I finished all the reqiured behavior med meetings and nutrition meetings.  I now wait for the surgeons office to call me for a consult, then I schedule my surgery date before leaving there office from the consult appt.  Between the consult appt and the surgery date I will have a meeting with NUT for a weigh in and to go over all the pre-op info and the post-op diet info.  My insides are quivering with excitement.  Hopefully they call me soon, my NUT office said dont call them they will call me within 7-10 days, that seems like a long time (11/7/09)    I am hoping for a surgery date no later than the second week into December!!!!!!!!!!!!
