10/30/08 it was 168 !

"What are you gonna do with your new shape?"  Good question. I can't wait to find out.

Last night I slept from 8:30-10:30p and from 11p-1a. I fell asleep for a few mins. in between and now it's 2:15a. I know, I shouldn't be awake but I am. I think I'm actually hungry. (Diazepam)
I got my IV bandages replaced and got my incision bandages fixed up. It's storming.
4:35a 2 hours til Adam hopefully. A little nauseous and in some pain. I've felt better!
5:35a Fell asleep again, I need it but hate the way I feel when I wake up. Still nauseous/ sore.

Well what a morning! First I was told I'd have to walk 4 times today, then that my IV had to be re-drawn. Then! That Dr. Gralhalva want to take my catheter out. That got my crying because who is he to say (he's not my doctor) and I was scared of the pain. But luckily Dr. Vesco came in before they did it and told me how well I was doing and all the stuff I was going to do before Wednesday, when hopefully I'll be going home. So they took it out and I was OK and I've peed twice and walked down the full hall 1 1/2 times today. 
I've napped and gotten up my breathing. I should be on liquids tomorrow I believe and I can't wait. I also feel gas! 3:15p

Tomorrow's supposed to be "exciting". LOL. If I get liquid it will be. I peed a lot again this morning (2-ish).
I slept from around 10p-12a and 12:30-1:30a. Now I'm comfy except some gas discomfort so I should sleep just fine. Some more morphine and I'm set.   16 since 5p is pretty good! TBC...
Slept: 1:30-2:30a/2:30-5a/5-6a

Well what a day! Happy Rebirth day to me! It went so much better than I thought it would. Oops, sleepy. 10:30p (or 11:30)

4/24/04 
Well it's 12:50a and I'm not getting any sleep. My tummy hurts pretty bad and I keep feeling like I'm bleeding. I just want to sleep.  BP- 132/68

4:15a Got some Valium
BP- 130/69, Temp- 98.8  Still didn't really sleep, still have hiccups, and still feel bleedy. My back hurts and my tummy spasms are bad. 5:15a

I'm pretty awake, re-situated and feeling better mostly. Still trying to catch up on the pain but pretty comfy. We're trying to get me up at 8:30a. Still no Adam. Not bleeding. 7:20a 

I can balance a mug on my belly, and I'm not pregnant
Back, leg, neck, and foot pain
Stretch marks
Feeling ashamed eating at restaurants
Getting winded going upstairs
STILL being shy in front of Adam
How much longer it takes to do normal things


REASONS NOT TO GAIN THE WEIGHT BACK!

I'm conflicted as to whether I should only write about surgery-related stuff or everything. I guess all of it since I'm going to need to deal with my feelings after the surgery, not just towards food, but towards myself and everyone else who effects me, my self esteem, and issues relating to why I am overweight and my low self esteem.
Sex after I lose weight will be so weird- new and hopefully easier and less self-conscious!

I realized that I gained around 70 lbs. in between 2000 and now not counting any weight loss. Basically since I moved in with Adam. It's not amazing considering the foods we ate, but still surprising. I wish I knew how much I weighed through out my childhood. I think I was around 150 lbs at 14. I gained around 10 lbs a year since I was little, until I was 18. Then I gained almost 20 lbs a year. Scary!
What I wouldn't give to be 150 lbs. again. Just to think I could be down 80 lbs. by this time next year. I could be under 200 lbs. by my birthday. That's my goal! 60 lbs. before my 22nd birthday! I guess if I really want that I should start cracking down now, but I hate going to the gym and the thought that I may never get to eat certain foods again makes me want to eat without care. I don't completely, but I have cared less since we set the date and it looks like I've gained to prove it. I really do hope I lose the ability to eat certain things that don't make me feel good and maybe a few things that do, so I won't crave them as much (pizza, french fries, Doritos, onion rings).
