My story is very much like a lot of others I've read.  I started having to watch my weight at about the age of 11 or 12.  I've always like to eat large portions.  I was in the Air Force for twenty years and fought to stay within standards for at least the last ten years, especially when I hit my thirties and had my last two kids.  I've tried so many diets, but the only thing that seemed to work was phentermine, but when I would stop taking it I would almost always gain weight and then I would have to weightwait until I could take it again.  The other problem with phentermine is that it raised my already high resting heart rate, so during exercise my heart rate would sky rocket.  I decided to look into WLS when I recently went to the doctor for a sinus infection and was diagnosed with high blood pressure along with the sinus infection.  I'm almost 45 and don't want to continue this up and down (mostly up) struggle, while my health continues to deteriorate, any longer.  I'm looking forward to feeling healthy again!
