Was 148 when I got on the scale this morning.  Still slow, but moving in the right direction.  Kidney stones procedure Tuesday.  My urologist told me people with gastric bypass have an increased chance of developing kidney stones, so lucky me I already had problems with the damn things well before gastric bypass, so I guess I have double the chance...yeeegadds.

I should get on here more often.  I was 152 this morning...things are still going down, but very very very slowly.  I feel really good except I do have a little discomfort right above where my stomach should be...getting a CT scan Monday to rule out cyst or hernia.  I missed my year appointment with Dr. S because my referal expired, so I got another referal and am waiting for the paperwork in the mail.  I'll post when I find something out from the CT scan.
 

I already past the 100 pounds lost from my highest weight, but I had lost a few pounds on the pre-op diet and today I have lost 100 pounds from the day of surgery weight.  I am about 12 pounds from my first goal weight and then I will see how I feel and decide if I need to adjust that goal.  Live is great!!!

Today I have lost 100 pounds from my highest weight of 267.  I'm very excited, but also a little worried because things are moving very very slow!!!  I'm still very excited and feeling really great!!! I also need to get my kids to help me update my pictures on here.

On the 9th of Novemeber I will be 5 months out from surgery.  My weight loss is slowing, but still going.  I have so many little things that I can do now.  For some reason one of the biggest things for me is crossing my legs at the thigh.  It makes me feel femine and I love it!!!  I have oodles of room in booths now and some where starting to get a little tight.  I have lot's of room between me and my steering wheel too.  I'm down to my smallest clothes size that I have around the house from when I started gaining a lot back in 2000.  The lowest clothes size I have is 16 and they are starting to get a little roomy in some cases.  I'm still 53 pounds from my final goal and that's when my Grammy told me she would buy me a knew wardrobe.  Life is good. 

I saw Dr. Schlesinger this morning and all is great.  I've lost 56 pounds since the Friday before surgery and about 52 pounds since surgery.  I feel really good.  I have a limited list of foods that "work", but they do work, so that's what I end up eating most of the time.  I'm starting to see a little more hair falling out although I don't really notice it being thinner.  I will start back on the Optisource bariatric vitamins, they were much better than a brand I bought at GNC (YUCKY).  I will also try to increase my protien.  Life is great!!

Today is two weeks from the date of my surgery.  I can't believe how great I feel.  I would DEFINITELY do it again.  I've lost 25 pounds since I weighed at the doctors last and about 9 pounds since my last post.  I'm going back to work tomorrow and I am so thrilled.  My BMI is 39.1 YAHOO!!!!!!!

Tomorrow will be one week since surgery and I feel like I'm doing pretty good.  I'm still at the stage where I'm not sure I did the right thing, but that feeling is getting weaker and weaker by the day.  I'm getting down water, suger free popsicle, a little protien drink and chicken broth.  It's not too hard, but I'm not really hungry for any of it, so I just do it because I'm supposed to.  I only lost 5 pounds pre-op, but I only did it for eight days (things came up so fast).  So I guess that's pretty good.   I see Dr. S the 23rd and If things keep going this well, I think I'll be in great shape.

I saw Dr. Schlesinger on Friday and everything is a go.  I'm approved and I am so excited!!!

I got a call from Dr. Schlesinger's staff today and was given a tentative date of 9 June 08.  I'm so very excited and can't wait to get the show on the road.  I'm also a little nervous, but I guess thats to be expected.  YAHOOOOO!!!
