I'm 44 yrs old & weight is 251. I'm waiting to have a revision surgery. I had a Lap band put in in Louisville Ky in Nov. 2003 my weight them was 286. I was down to 156 after having a tummy tuck in Feb. 2007 
. But I had a head on car wreak that fall & had to have my Band removed. My surgeon only did open bypass & he wanted to do the surgery when he took out the band. I didn't not want to be opened up. So I just let him take out the Lap band the way it went in. I held my weight just fine til about 1 1/2 yrs ago. My life took many difference changes & I went in to a deep depression. My weight started going back up & up. I'm not up to 286 but 251. I've decided to have the bypass done now that I found a place that can do it with out opening me up. I'm all set, had all my Requirements for Bariatric Surgery completed in Sept. 2011 & was waiting on them to get them back to my Surgeon. After meeting my surgeon the first time. I was'nt crazy about him. But felt like I could move on with my surgery. But after having meet with him the 2ND time (Late Oct 2011)& my husband came with me. I wasn't not letting this person touch me. & my Husband agreed with me.. I've changed Dr.'s . & I'm waiting to see this Dr on Dec 9Th. The new office is helping me a lot. I'm hoping to a surgery date after seeing the New Dr. on Dec 9Th. & I cant wait..
