Hello OH family. It's awesome to be in a family were we all can support each other for the same reason. I am the wife of my highschool sweetheart for 18 years (been together for 20) and the mother of two, ages 19 and 15.
My battle for WL started in 1990 when I was pregnant with my daughter. I gained 60lbs... from that time on I have tried just about every weightloss pill, hypnosis, community weight loss clubs, you name it. I come from a obese family, however I know that's not an excuse. Currently, I weigh 222 lbs. 5'2' tall with a BMI of 40.2.
I have attended the WLS seminar, and will be attending a support group meeting 9/10/09. I have an appointment to see Dr. Spencer (Tidewater Surgical Specialist) 10/16/09. I am so ready to have this weightloss tool implemented into my life. I am ready to feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally.
I have a supportive P.A. and my insurance is Tricare Prime. So, keep me in your thoughts as I travel this journey. I know I am not alone.
