Hi, my name is Kat and I love in Northeast Ohio. I'm currently in the process of having RNY and can't wait to start my new life! I've been overweight for as long as I can remember and I'm ready to get healthy. I have 2 sisters, one of which had the surgery back in December and looks amazing! Also, I have a couple friends that has gone through it so it's been nice to see the progress they've all made. My boyfriend and I live together and he is totally supportive of me which is one thing I love about him. We're ready to get healthy...together...and it will be great to have him on the path with me! I'm looking forward to not having the aches and pains I do now and hopefully getting off the blood pressure meds and the Cpap. I hate that thing but it's necessary for now so I deal with it. Anyhow, I joined this group to get support and make friends in the process. It's very encouraging reading others posts and looking at their pictures...it gives me that extra boost to keep on going! We all need boosts at one point :-)
